From Bangkok Sidewalk

Back to set foot in the city of Bangkok, after several months, at first glance does not seem there is something new. Heat, humidity, traffic, jam, and the hustle and bustle is still the same. Indeed the number of tourists, especially whites milling around on the sidewalk is not as much as usual. And that's only one difference that can be seen with the eye.
"The financial crisis in Europe and the political situation in the country became the biggest cause of decline in tourists," so obviously a friend. Of course. Recently open conflict due to political conflicts between the Yellow Shirt with a group known by the name of Red Shirt has been shaking the security and disturb the domestic tranquility.

However, like Jakarta and cities in other Asian giant, the pulse can not be stopped just like that. Walking on the sidewalk in downtown Bangkok as the lives of its citizens flowing as usual, although below the surface flow is still expected rebellion was so strong and ready to overwhelm the city anytime.

Each time must tread the sidewalks of Bangkok city, my legs are just accustomed to stepping on the gas pedal on the streets of Yogyakarta city often screaming for a break. While they were resting idly I took the camera and capture what attracted me.

No different than big cities in Asia, among the crowded concrete jungle and the thick clouds of exhaust smoke that spread carbon monoxide into the air, it still looks a lot of people trying to survive in different ways.

Among the fast city life that is ready Wheel Grind anyone, still preserved symbioses mutuality between citizens who are equally considered destitute. In addition, the same is to some cities in Indonesia, everywhere seemed scattered billboards planks that block the sky city and disrupt - or even attractive - eyes

When along the pavement from one place to another, I finally found one big difference that caught the eye. Ruins of Central World building that burned on Wednesday the third week in May. Now the mega shopping complex for a while does not operate, except hotels and office activities only.

Sky-walk - corridor that connects two sky-train stations across Central World - which is usually filled with people passing by - it looks lonely. There is little sense of horror to see traces of the flames of anger here and there, reminding me of the riots that often occur in their own country. Several months ago, not long ago, still I see a beer drinking party at one of the central plaza of high-end lifestyle in the city of Bangkok.

As she continued down the sidewalk toward the hotel to end the day, it occurred to me, how the mass media often exaggerate the case. Create a layman like me to save the real fear in order not to be maintained
