Summer Vacation and Riots Thailand Triger hike Tourist from May to July 2010

Visits by foreign tourists to Indonesia will increase. Central Statistics Agency (BPS) estimates it continues increase from May to July 2010.

During January to May 2010, the number of tourists reached 2.77 million people. This amount increased by 14.59% than the same period in 2009 is 2.41 million people.

Special to Bali, the number of foreign tourists visiting in May 2010 reached 199.4 thousand people. The number is up 8.23% compared to foreign tourists visiting Bali in April 2010 reached 184.2 thousand people.

Foreign tourist visit to Bali through Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport in May 2010 reached 199 401 people. Increased 4.56% compared to May 2009 amounted to 190 697 people.
